Accredited Workplace Mediation Training

CLA Mediation & Training Ltd’s five-day Employment and Workplace Mediation Certificate programme will equip delegates with the skills and confidence to:

1. Understand what mediation is, its background, the difference between employment and workplace mediation and when mediation should be used.

2. Increase delegates’ awareness of mediation, conflict and the business case for building better relationships at work.

3. Help delegates build the necessary skills, strategies, competence and confidence to undertake effective mediation in the workplace.

4. Help delegates transfer knowledge of mediation back to the workplace.

5. Help delegates understand how mediation fits with other parts of the HR framework.

Our workplace mediation training course is suitable for organisations that want to equip employees with the skills to facilitate internal workplace mediation. 

Delegates can choose to complete the 5-day CMC-accredited training course, which includes two days of assessed mediation practice, to become an accredited mediator. 

Or, they may choose to take part in Days 1-3 to learn conflict resolution theory and mediation skills for internal mediation or self-development purposes.

This experience has inspired us to create a workplace training course that equips individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively mediate workplace disputes, but also provides opportunities for ongoing support and mentorship after course completion. In addition, the training course highlights the importance of the mediator's self-development, well-being, peer support, and reflective practice.

The training course also covers employment mediation (post-termination disputes), not just workplace mediation (within ongoing employment).
